Background/Challenge
The brief for this event was to manage one or perhaps two engaging, interactive and fun summer events to bring eBay employees back together for a night of summer enjoyment, after almost three years apart.
EBay wanted to host an event that welcomed new eBayers to the party and give them the opportunity to socialize with their colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere and increase team bonding. The challenge was creating a memorable experience that boosts morale and celebrates eBay’s achievements throughout the year.
Our response
We decided to take elements that have surprised and delighted eBayers in the past but add in even more and make the event bigger, bolder and more dynamic – a night to remember!
Our vision included good food, good music and good people- Summer Fest 2022 will transport eBay employees to their very own festival where they are center-stage. Most importantly employees will be given the opportunity to relax, reconnect with each other and celebrate the hard work gone into the year. Summer Fest gives you that festival feeling, a one-of-a-kind experience.!
Execution
We transformed the eBay employer carpark outside of their offices into their very own eBay Festival- complete with stage, stretch tent, bar, food trucks festoon lighting, an amazing entertainment line-up and some fun and games along the way.
Results
300 attendees who danced the night away until the event wrapped up at 1am.
